Ed Blonski ("Rev") is the founder of True Men Ministries. He started True Men Ministries in 2004 after reading The Man in the Mirror by Patrick Morley and Wild at Heart by John Eldredge. This ignited a passion to reach men with the Gospel of Jesus Christ - the "Warrior-Shepherd."
He's been a pastor in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod for sixteen years, serving parishes in rural Michigan, small-town Wisconsin, suburban Los Angeles and suburban Chicago.
He is married to Nancy and has three sons, Eddie, Kurt and Mark. He's also uncle to Maggie and Joey!
Ed has worked in radio since 1988 as an announcer and producer and currently produces and hosts The Classical Stream - an Internet classical music radio show.
Ed has a love of baseball. He has helped coach his sons' little league teams. From 2003-2006 he served as the Baseball Chapel Coordinator for the Northern League of Professional Baseball. He oversaw and supported 13 chapel leaders for teams in the Midwest and Canada.
He started True Men Ministries to help men and their families to fulfill God's dream for them. To do that, True Men Ministries hosts Advances (instead of "retreats") and Bible Studies. Ed also writes devotions, Bible Studies and is currently working on a leadership book project based on Richard Winters and the Band of Brothers.
He is available to speak to your church's mens group. Click here to find out more.
