Joe confides with a friend that when he looks at himself, examines himself, he
finds that he’s bored with himself. He doesn’t have any interest in himself at all.
When asked what interests him, he answers, “courage.”
Many people seemed to live their lives like they are bored. They may be bored
with what they do, bored with who they are with, or just bored of themselves. I
was reading recently that if people are bored with themselves, they need to
look at Jesus as their life.
1. What are some of the things you put your confidence in?
2. What does the culture say we should put our confidence in?
3. Are you bored with life? Or are you bored with parts of your life?
