1. How have you shown mercy to someone?
2. How has God shown mercy to you?
3. Where in the world is the best place for a Christian to live?

Luther’s Small Catechism: What does such baptizing with water indicate? It indicates that the Old
Adam in us should by daily contrition and repentance be drowned and die with all sins and evil desires,
and that a new man should daily emerge and arise to live before God in righteousness and purity forever.
Jesus, Luke 9:23: If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily
and follow Me.
