Joshua 1
The Big Idea:
1. Have you ever made a promise to someone you love? (wife, child)
2. If you kept that promise, how did it affect their lives?
3. If you broke that promise, how did that affect their lives?
4. God has made promises to you – to never leave you, forsake you, to give you life. How can
knowing that change the way you live?
5. As a leader (father, husband, boss, elder in church, etc.), what example are you giving to those you
lead?
6. Do you have a “band of brothers” that you help and that help you get through life? (read the book
Band of Brothers” or what the HBO series of the same name.)
