True Men Ministries Prayer Warriors
Prayer Warriors...
My friend, my brother (or sister!), thanks so much for wanting to be such an intimate ally - to fight with
us, and for us, in this great mission God is doing here. It blows me away that God has entrusted us with
such an awesome and daunting task of being instruments of change and transformation in men's lives.
The story is told about C.H. Spurgeon, and the incredible revival that was taking place in England
through his church. The London Times sent a reporter over to find out what was up. Spurgeon led the
man through the church, down the back stairs, all the way to the boiler room in the basement. There, a
small group of men and women were praying. "This," he said, "is the secret of what's happening out
there. This is the powerhouse - this little group."
That's also true for True Men Ministries. We can't do this without you, our most precious allies.
There's no formula for being a Prayer Warrior. From time to time I'll send you an email to let you know
what's up, where we are advancing, where we need your prayers. But I trust that God will be the one to
guide you - more often than not you'll know better than we what we need prayer for! You'll be driving
down the street, or wake up in the night, and you'll start thinking about us, or feel something for us.
Pray! That's the Holy Spirit, sending up a flare!
